In the Flesh

December 25, 2011

“And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.”

Apostle John tells us this and every time I read it, it gives me goosebumps.

The word became flesh.

Because Apostle John also tells us of the very beginning, before we had this earthly plane. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.”. He was all there was, in this vast universe. God made this universe we call home, it became an imperfect dwelling and that Word, that God, the loving Father — became FLESH! Amen. Thank you.

He lived among us, he walked the Earth among us, and he was our savior. Our father, a love so pure — for eternity!

Just as my church said for our Christmas theme, it is the greatest gift. Ever. The birth of a baby in a manger, for all of the human race until the end of time.

Thank you, heavenly Father, for the greatest gift.

Merry Christmas!

“The Word?” “Men of Jerusalem! Why sand ye gazeing skyward? For he shall return in like manner as you have seen him leave.” Some Angel. 🙂
