Carrot Love
October 5, 2011
Fall is my favorite season.
Crisp air, school starting, and it has always made me want to stop and reflect on my life. Gauge my progress as a person. Stop and organize my world. Prepare for the cold winter that lies ahead.
I love the colors.
And I’m feeling the carrot love.
(I found this on a friend’s Facebook page and really needed an excuse to use it)
Fall, for me, is a time to be grateful for my life. The love I am blessed with from family and friends. And I feel especially blessed to have found the carrot love. That is just beautiful.

I love that last caption!
Fall is also my favorite season. In childhood, that was because of anticipation for my October birthday. In my teen years, it was because it felt like fall was a sweeping away of the old to allow in (after the pause for winter) the new. There’s such a sense of hope for me in that, even now that I live in Los Angeles, where far fewer leaves actually fall.
That pumpkin picture reminds me of visiting a pumpkin patch in my hometown last year. I might need to find a local one for Li’l D to visit this year.
Oh thanks for sharing that, Deborah! Fall is wonderful and my daughter celebrates her birth this month, too! Love it and kids just love the pumpkin patches!! Thanks for visiting. Come back.
Sweet, autumn is my favorite time of year. The pictures are fun too!
Thanks for stopping by, Neeks.
Joy,
I’m glad you shared that picture with the world. It’s priceless. Thanks.
